In support of this scenario, an analysis conducted by the Complutense University of Madrid on ninety-nine international studies has highlighted how the integration of artificial intelligence, big data and digital communication systems represents a concrete answer to monitor and predict the areas of greatest crowding.

The collaboration between Acer for Business, Kiosk and AOPEN fits into this context, a strategic alliance aimed at providing a technological ecosystem for public administration and infrastructure managers. Digital signage systems, integrated with sensors and urban analytics platforms, allow alternative itineraries and congestion levels of attractions to be reported directly at strategic transit points such as stations, airports, museums and public spaces.
