Rockstar Games comments on the leak of GTA VI before its preview on Netflix: “it’s a shame”

Rockstar Games has spoken out about the GTA VI video leak suffered in the last week and has recognized that it has been a very hard blow for the team behind the development of the next installment of the GTA saga.

The video game studio has stated that “it is a shame” that the gaming experience they had planned “may now be affected by some ‘spoilers'”, although it hopes that all players can hold on a little longer to live the game on November 19, the date on which GTA VI will be released, as expressed in his account on X (formerly Twitter) that

“We are very excited for everyone to see the expanded trailer tomorrow. It took more than we wanted to get it ready, but, as with everything we do, We know that we have to exceed your expectationsand we are determined to live up to what you expect and deserve,” says Rockstar Games in response to the blow that the leak of the 13 videos by the group or person nicknamed Cyberleek has been for the team in the last week.

Tomorrow, Thursday, ‘Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended View’ will premiere in the world premiere on Netflix, the advance on the new delivery of the saga. Six hours later it can be seen on the official YouTube channel.

“We are very sorry that everything has taken so long: from finishing the game (it’s almost there!) to sharing more details and official gameplay, and offering the community everything you want to know,” says Rockstar Games in its statement that confirms that there are no final changes to the release date and reflects the company’s feelings regarding the leaked videos and Thursday’s premiere on Netflix.
