Instagram works on chats with artificial intelligence (AI) with the aim of giving users “a more fun and engaging experience.” Thanks to this new option, still under development, the machine will be able to both answer questions and give advice from around thirty personalized profiles, according to what the reverse engineering expert Alessandro Paluzzi recently noted.
The social network, owned by Meta seeks to introduce the conversational chats moved thanks to the use of IA both in new conversational formats and in their ‘stickers’, which members of the platform can create to reflect their state of mind and which other users can reuse in their direct messages (DM).
Paluzzi has shared a screenshot of the app showing that it is possible to choose from 30 AI personalities and find the most suitable one for your needs.

In this notification, in addition, Instagram encourages users to find “the best way to express themselves” with this artificial intelligence, as well as to get help when writing messages.
Paluzzi has also shared a screenshot of the Direct Messages section, where enter the ‘Mute’ option a conversation to stop receiving notifications if the other user has responded to a message or interacted with it, with a ‘like’, for example. On the other hand, it includes the possibility of responding with the help of this intelligent chat by entering an at sign, which allows direct access to this new functionality.
