The Privacy option, which is accessed after clicking on Settings and Accounts, allows you to restrict personal information. In some cases, the fact of enabling any of these options has a drawback: by deactivating the read confirmation (the blue ticks), it is also not possible to know if the other has read the messages that were sent to him.
