The Vivaldi browser is now available for iOS

The Vivaldi browser already has an application for iOS, which is available this Thursday in the Apple App Store, for download on iPhone and iPad devices.

The Vivaldi application brings to iOS the internal tools that users of this browser already use on the web and Android, such as desktop-style tabs, notes, quick access or the reading list.

Users will also be able to sync browsing data, such as bookmarks, passwords, or auto-fill information, between devices using Vivaldi. This synchronization is protected with end-to-end encryption, as reported by the company on the official blog.

In security and privacy, the browser has a tracker and ad blocker, two tools that the user can activate to limit the information that third parties collect from their Internet activity.

Vivaldi also has a private browsing mode, which does not save the user’s searches, history, cookies or temporary files. It also gives the option to choose the preferred search engine, which can be modified.

On iPad, it adapts its interface to the larger screen of this tablet to display more information, in a default configuration like Vivaldi for desktop.
