This was the main focus of the text, which reviews the history of the video game saga since the release of “The Elder Scrolls: Arena” on March 25, 1994, a series that evolved rapidly with “Daggerfall” in 1996, “Morrowind” in 2002, “Oblivion” in 2006 and “Skyrim” in 2011.

It is almost at the end where they talk about the future of the franchise, directly mentioning “The Elder Scrolls VI”, a game announced in 2018 of which we have only seen a brief teaser.

“Last but not least, we are developing the new chapter, ‘The Elder Scrolls VI.’ Even now, returning to Tamriel (the continent where the events of the game take place) and playing the first versions (of the game) have filled us with the same joy, excitement and the promise of adventure,” the text indicated.

Although welcome, the information is little consolation for fans of the franchise, considering that its owners at Microsoft have hinted that “The Elder Scrolls VI” probably will not be released until 2028.
