Apple Vision Pro, the most complicated (or impossible) device for technicians to repair

Virtual reality glasses increase Apple’s limitations in delivering even a line of spare parts that give a chance for repair.

It was launched a few months ago and continues to generate diverse opinions today. A report from Infobae shows how specialized repair pages such as Phone Repair Guru have described it as the most difficult.

Among the reasons are intentional measures to complicate the replacement of damaged parts by third-party workshops. They point out that each component is serialized and if any of these parts are replaced, the device stops working.

On the other hand, the design prioritizes aesthetics and thinness so some internal components are integrated or welded, making their replacement difficult. Special screws are also used that require specific tools.

On the other hand, Apple has also raised the possibility of software crashes when attempting unauthorized interventions.
