YouTube tests the function of jumping directly to the most interesting part of a video

YouTube has started testing a new feature that allows Platform users jump directly to the highlight of the video they are watching.

The streaming video platform has a section where users of the YouTube Premium subscription can access new functions that have not been enabled in general, on a trial basis.

The most recent, as reported in 9to5Google, is ‘Jump ahead’ and with it you can go directly to the best parts of a video, or what you consider may be of most interest to the user based on their experience.

This is a function similar to the one that already exists in the Android and iOS ‘apps’ that, by tapping twice, allows the playback to advance 10 seconds. In fact, according to the aforementioned media, the ‘Jump ahead’ option appears after the two touches.
