Fujitsu Sponsors 40 Cybersecurity Scholarships to Empower Digital Talent Among Women

Fujitsu will participate in the development of the Woman Digital program, promoted by the Human Age Foundation, whose objective is to promote the digital talent of women, an initiative to which it will contribute with the sponsorship of 40 scholarships.

The Japanese multinational wants to contribute to the push for digitization already the decrease in the current talent mismatch between men and women, through ‘upskilling’ and ‘reskilling’ actions, thus favoring the employability of women in the field of technology.

The sponsorship of 40 training scholarships, which will consist of the free access to specific official training in Cybersecurity, It will promote the development of digital talent among women, promoting technological knowledge in the female group and increasing their professional development in the technology sector, as reported by the company in a statement.

On March 16, young women were called to present the program, and women from all over Spain participated in it. The training program, which will be run by the Huma Age Foundation, will run from March to July 2022.
