Grand Theft Auto VI, the announcement trailer recreated in real life

The Grand Theft Auto VI announcement trailer has been recreated in real life, and the results are truly impressive. YouTuber Andrew Levitt has put together a retelling of the film with which the game was presented last December, using his own footage and stock videos from various sources. The clip also uses the same song as the real trailer, “Love Is a Long Road” by Tom Petty. Levitt also released a second video that offers a behind-the-scenes look at how he and his team made the video and the efforts they put into an extremely ambitious project.

The GTA VI announcement video obtained a huge number of views, which is not surprising given that industry analysts agree in considering the release of the game, expected in 2025 but which could be postponed to 2026, as the most important in the history of video games. The previous chapter, GTA V, sold almost 200 million copies worldwide. GTA VI is in development at Rockstar North in Edinburgh, Scotland, with Rockstar teams around the world supporting the work, which has been ongoing for more than ten years. Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two said the developer is chasing “perfection.”
