According to the ministry, the drones imported by the company operate in frequency ranges that may cause wireless interference to security forces, and therefore it was defined as a violation under aggravated circumstances. The violation was discovered following a proactive inspection by a senior vice president for supervision and enforcement Aya ben Porat and the Spectrum Division of the Communications Ministry.

“The importation of drones that transmit on frequencies that are prohibited, during wartime, is an illegal and serious phenomenon and the ministry will continue to act to thwart it and will take enforcement procedures against the violators,” said the Director General of the Ministry of Communications, Einbal from six.

According to Mashash, employees of the Ministry of Communications inspect hundreds of items of wireless communication equipment every day and that heavy fines and enforcement will be imposed against importing companies that violate the guidelines and may endanger the IDF’s activities.
