Pokémon Go expands avatar customization with body build adjustments and new expressions and hairstyles

Pokémon Go has entered a updated avatar customization system with which players will be able to replicate their appearance with new body build options to new facial expressions and hairstyles.

Niantic has implemented the first of three major updates with which it hopes players will “rediscover” this augmented reality mobile game, which it launched in 2016.

The update revolves around The fashion storethe avatar customization system, which now offers new and more options for players to express themselves and show their own style.

Specifically, it is now possible adjust body constitution, modifying the weight and muscles and parts such as the shoulders, chest and hips. There are also advanced options for the tone of skin, hair and eyes.

Players will also find new facial expressions and hairstyles. In the latter case, options appear depending on the length, with the categories Short, Medium or Long.

Soon, Niantic will also change the game map and the encounter and combat screens depending on where the player is, and will introduce a new instant photography experience.
