Despite initial expectations, interest in the mixed reality device Apple is experiencing a decline, as reported by Mark Gurman. The journalist points out that few users make appointments to test the viewers and that sales have decreased.

According to the analyst, some Apple Stores barely sell a few Vision Pros in an entire week, which contrasts with their sales of two a day previously. Likewise, demand for demonstrations of the device has also fallen considerably since the product’s launch. People who book appointments to test the Vision Pro are no longer showing up at stores.

Let us remember that in February, the month of its launch, Apple fans waited in line outside the Apple Store stores in New York to try the company’s novelty. Today, however, that enthusiasm appears to have waned.

Why is interest in Apple’s latest hardware device falling?

According to Hipertextual, one of the reasons for the lower demand for the Apple Vision Pro can be attributed to its limited availability and high price. Currently, it is only available in the US and starts at $3,500, making it a niche product.

On the other hand, Gurman argues that in the United States, the decline in interest is because owners of the device no longer find it as attractive. Additionally, the lack of additional applications and the hassle of using it in public places could be influencing this trend.
