The update was first spotted on version 6.79.0.624777117 of Google Photos by the social network user @AssembleDebug, who explained that he seeks to provide a more orderly environment and facilitate the location of relevant content within the application.

Although the update will arrive to organize the profiles, it must be taken into account that leaked files will not be deletedbut they will be hidden from the main view.

All material will continue to be uploaded to the Google cloud, and users will be able to view it from the complete list of photos, in the “Collections” or “Library” tab, or with the search engine. The only place these photos are hidden is in the “Photos” tab of the app.

This change limits the “visual noise” of less desired content such as screenshots, GIFS or unimportant images that arrive via WhatsApp.

Furthermore, this will not be the only improvement that will come to Google Photos; The company is also working on a Complete renovation of the ‘Memories’ tab promising a more modern and attractive design that improves user interaction with their stored photographs.

These new features will be integrated into the already launched Photo Stacks providing users with multiple tools to manage their photo galleries more effectively.
