Meta has launched a new bonus program for creators, which works exclusively by invitation and with which the company seeks to reward users for the publications they make, based on performance and the amount of content shared.

The bonuses feature, which is only available for Instagram business and creator accounts, are “opportunities to earn money” directly from the platform, as it explains on its support page.

This option is has begun to implement Threads on the ‘microblogging’ platform, something that is currently limited to creators in the United States as confirmed by the company to TechCrunch.

This new system It works by invitation only and allows you to monetize the content that is published based on its performance and the number of shared posts. To be part of it, you only need to have a public profile on Threads and follow both the conditions of the incentives for Instagram creators and the rules and requirements for bonuses on this social network.

Meta has indicated that In some cases users must earn a minimum amount to receive a bonus payment. If the minimum amount is not met, the user will not be rewarded, but may “be invited to participate in another bonus opportunity in the future,” according to Instagram’s Help page.

Likewise, the company has defined the content that is not eligible for Threads bonuses, such as those posts that violate Instagram’s content monetization policies.

Nor will the creators of the program be compensated if other rights holders claim their publications, if their publications have been deleted, do not include text, have less than 2,500 views – both from the mobile ‘app’ and from the web – or if they register any type of fraud, such as fake views.
