It's official: 6G mobile technology now has a logo

The 3GPP association has shared the image that will now identify the use cases of the sixth generation of connectivity mobile, known as 6G, while working on its technical specifications.

3GPP began working on the specifications of the next generation of mobile communication systems, 6G, in December. A process that will require several years and that must attend to the growth of the needs of the use cases.

As part of the work with the sixth generation, 3GPP has revealed what will be the official logo that will accompany this connectivity, as reported in a press release. This will be presented during a workshop on IMT2030 to be held from May 8 to 10 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

3GPP intends to work on the transition to 6G networks this year and the IMT-2030 framework, which includes the characteristics that radio technology must meet to promote the adoption of the sixth generation of mobile connectivity, mainly in efficiency, traffic capacity and cost.
