IBM announces the availability of its software in more than 90 countries through AWS Marketplace

IBM has expanded the availability of its software portfolio, which is expanding to 92 countries through AWS Marketplace, the digital catalog of Amazon Web Services (AWS), which integrates thousands of software listings from independent vendors.

The firm has explained that, with this expansion, beyond Germany, France, Denmark, the United Kingdom and the United States – where it was already available – it will simplify the purchasing and billing processes. Additionally, this expansion will allow customers to use their committed AWS spending for IBM software acquisitions.

IBM’s portfolio, now expanded to 92 countries through AWS Marketplace, includes 44 listings and 29 software as a service (SaaS) offerings. These technologies include the components of the watsonx platform, such as watsonx.data or watsonx.ai, as the technology company has advanced in a statement.

Other services available from IBM for these countries are Dv2 Cloud Pak for Dara, Apptio, Turbonomic, Instana and IBM Security & Sustainability; all built on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS.

Finally, it has announced that it also plans to launch 15 new professional services and IBM Consulting assets on AWS Marketplace, aligned “with customer needs and demand,” according to IBM.
