Hajizadeh: “Pashinyan’s statements cannot be evidence of Armenia’s good intentions”

“Pashinyan’s statements cannot be a testimony of Armenia’s good intentions,” Aykhan Hajizade, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, wrote in his user account X, referring to the Armenian Prime Minister’s Facebook post today.

“And what does all this mean, Mr. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan?” Let your actions speak louder than your words. It is noteworthy that your “peace-loving story” ignores the most important component of establishing peace and stability in the region: respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states,” Hajizadeh noted.

The official representative of the Azerbaijani diplomatic department noted. – “If Armenia is really interested in establishing peace with its neighbors, why do you avoid in every possible way within the framework of your Constitution and national legislation to give up the territories that you call “Western Armenia” and “The Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh? I’m sorry, but your quarrels cannot be considered as evidence of “Armenia’s good intentions”.

Pashinyan presented RA’s proposals to establish peace, also mentioning the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Baku has been calling for the dissolution of the Minsk Group established 33 years ago for the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
