North Korea will hold funeral for soldiers who fell in the Ukraine war

The leader Kim Jong-un visited the site and inspected the final stages of the project, including the arrangement of exhibits, sculptures and symbolic memorials, and “greatly appreciated” the progress, according to that outlet.

North Korea confirmed it had deployed troops to support Russia’s war in Ukraine in April last year and admitted its soldiers had been killed in combat.

Since then, Kim has held various ceremonies to honor fallen servicemen.
