Today, two female activists surprised German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (Scholz), next to whom they took photos before taking off their shirts without warning and posing topless, demanding that a gas embargo be immediately introduced against Russia.
The female activists, who took advantage of the German government’s open day to be close to Scholz, were immediately taken outside the building, and their action was directed against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Despite a desperate attempt to find other means of supply, Germany, which relies heavily on Russian gas, has so far not imposed a complete embargo on gas from Russia.
Germany, like many of its European neighbors, will face energy shortages this winter.
