Trump warns that he will not apologize to the Pope and accuses him of having “a problem with law and order”

The American president, Donald Trump, assured this Monday that he will not apologize to Pope Leo

“I’m not going to waste apologies. Pope Leo has said things that are wrong,” Trump said in statements to the press from the White House immediately before insisting that “Pope Leo is very soft on crime.”

The tenant of the White House has stressed that “we firmly believe in law and order” and “he seems to have a problem with that,” he argued.

“It doesn’t like what we are doing with respect to Iran, but Iran wants to be a nuclear nation so it can exterminate the world. It can’t happen,” he argued. Thus, he indicated that “Leo would not be happy with the result” because “there would be hundreds of millions of deaths and that is not going to happen.”

Trump has highlighted that the Pope’s brother “is a great MAGA”, in reference to the movement that supports Trump, Make America Great Again. “You know, his brother is a great MAGA and he’s a great guy, Lewis,” he noted.

Trump has been questioned about an image that he has published on social networks in which he appears in a pose and style of religious representation, similar to that of Jesus of Nazareth, but which he has finally deleted.

“Well, it wasn’t a photograph. It was me. I published it. I thought it was me as a doctor. It has to do with the Red Cross and with a Red Cross worker, whom we support (…). It’s supposed to be me as a doctor, making people better,” he indicated. Trump has stressed that “I make people better.” “I make people a lot better.”
