Donald Trump said that he sent a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping asking him not to supply weapons to Iran, and received a response letter with assurances that China was not doing this. The American president spoke about this in an interview with Fox Business Network, recorded on Tuesday, April 14.
On his social network Truth Social on April 15, Trump wrote that he was “forever opening” the Strait of Hormuz and that China was very happy about it. “I am doing this for them – and for the whole world. This situation will never happen again,” the US president wrote, adding that he expected to meet with Xi Jinping in a few weeks.
