General warns that US will pursue ships supporting Iran

According to the military leader, the American Armed Forces will pursue vessels from any country that may be providing “material support” to Iran in other regions.

“Vessels in transit to or from Iranian ports will be boarded for interdiction and seizure: turn around or prepare to be boarded. If they do not comply with this blockade, we will use force,” he said at a press conference this morning.

Caine reported that more than 10,000 sailors, marines and airmen, supported by more than a dozen ships and dozens of aircraft, are participating in the operation off the coast of Iran. According to the chief of staff, to date, 13 ships “have made the correct decision to return.”

At the same press conference, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that the American Armed Forces are prepared to resume attacks if Tehran does not reach a final peace agreement with Washington during the current temporary ceasefire, which expires next Wednesday (22).

The US military leadership has warned Iran that the blockade of the country’s ports and economic pressures could continue indefinitely until they make a “wise decision” in negotiations.
