There are conflicting reports from Iran about Tehran’s readiness to continue negotiations with the United States

CNN, citing Iranian sources familiar with the talks, reports that a high-level delegation from Tehran will arrive in Islamabad on Tuesday for a decisive round of talks with Trump administration officials. The Iranian delegation, as in the first round, will be headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Baker Qalibaf.

Shortly after CNN’s report, Iran’s Tasnim news agency issued a statement saying Tehran would not send a delegation to Islamabad as long as the US blockaded Iranian ports.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump wrote on the Truth Social social network that the American delegation would arrive in Islamabad on Monday evening.

Journalist Barak Ravid, citing his sources in the White House, said that the delegation will be led by Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Trump, in turn, warned that he would no longer be a “good guy” and that if Tehran did not agree to the deal, the United States would destroy all power plants and bridges in Iran.
