The wake will be open to the public and will take place at the Legislative Assembly of the City of Buenos Aires. The body will later be taken to the Pantheon of Actors, in the Chacarita Cemetery.
Career of Luis Brandoni
Graduated from the National Conservatory of Music and Performing Arts, Brandoni began his career at a young age and established himself as one of the most recognized names in Argentine culture.
Over the years, he participated in important productions such as “La Patagonia Rebel” and “La Tregua”, becoming a central figure in Argentine cinema from the 1970s onwards.
During the period of the military dictatorship, he was the target of political persecution and went into exile in Mexico. With redemocratization, he returned to the country and resumed his career, consolidating his popularity in the following years.
In addition to his artistic activities, Luis Brandoni also participated in political life. Affiliated with the Radical Civic Union, he was a federal deputy between 1997 and 2001.
Even with his political activities, he never left the stage and screen. In theater, he participated in prominent productions such as “Made in Lanús” and “Conversaciones con mamá”. On television, he gained great popularity with the series “Mi cuñado”, alongside Ricardo Darín, as well as other works over the decades.
