Moscow offers its mediation to settle the conflict over Iran

Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Vladimir Putin, said that Russia is ready to provide any mediation service to settle the conflict over Iran and ensure peace in the Middle East.

“Russia is ready to provide any good service, any mediation support that will be acceptable to the parties. We are ready to do everything to finally ensure peace, guaranteed peace, and not return to military operations,” Peskov told reporters, answering the question of how Moscow can help in future negotiations on Iran.

Earlier, about the meeting between Putin and Aragchi, the Russian media reported that the Russian president expressed hope that the people of Iran will overcome the “difficult period” and peace will prevail.

According to the press, the Iranian Foreign Minister, who arrived in Moscow today, blamed Washington for the failure of the Middle East peace talks.
