Poll in the US: about a quarter of Americans believe that the shooting at Trump was staged

According to a report in the “Washington Post”, which was based on a survey by the “Newsguard” company, which examines the credibility of news sites, 24 percent of adults in the US believe that the incident at the Washington Hilton hotel was faked. On the other hand, 45 percent believe that it is a real incident, and another 32 percent testified that they are not sure. The survey also found that young people between the ages of 18 and 29 are much more likely to question the credibility of the event compared to older age groups.

He came to “fix the world” with an arsenal of weapons – and almost killed a president: the assassin of Trump confesses his guilt

The dramatic shooting incident took place on April 25 at the Hilton Hotel in Washington. Officials said Allen broke into a security checkpoint at a run, armed with several hot weapons and knives. Near there at the time were President Trump, senior administration officials, and many members of Congress who were immediately evacuated from the hall while the other attendees hurried to hide under the tables. Allen was arrested unharmed after an exchange of fire with the Secret Service officer, who was shot in the chest, survived thanks to a protective vest on his body, and was later released from the hospital.
