US publishes second batch of files related to UFOs and other unidentified objects

The United States Government has published this Friday a new batch of documents related to Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (FANIs) after a first declassification at the beginning of May.

The US Department of Defense has reported on social media that this new batch contains 116 pages of documentation from the so-called Armed Forces Special Weapons Program (AFSWP) – the successor to the Manhattan Project, which developed the first atomic bombs during World War II – and from the Air Force related to sightings and investigations in Sandia, New Mexico, from 1948 to 1950.

“This file contains 209 sightings of ‘green orbs’, ‘discs’ and ‘fireballs’ reported near the military base. Witnesses reported unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) maneuvering, flying out of sight, disappearing or exploding,” he noted on social media.

Likewise, these documents “also include results of contemporary investigations on residual copper dust found in some areas where sightings were reported.” “Some of these investigations became the basis for the creation of Project Grudge, which compiled information on unidentified flying objects from various military installations, also included in this collection,” he said.
