A man was seriously injured after another man physically attacked him in a cafe in Split’s Pujanka. We learned from the Split-Dalmatia police that on May 20, 2026, around 1:30 p.m., they received a report about a conflict between two men.
– At the scene of the incident, it was established that a 32-year-old and a 39-year-old man participated in the incident. One man was transported to the hospital for medical assistance and it was determined that he had sustained serious injuries, while the other man was arrested – they announced.
After the completed criminal investigation, along with a criminal report for causing serious bodily injury, assault was handed over to the detention supervisor.
