Kuwait reports death due to Iranian shelling

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry said Iranian air strikes killed at least one person and injured several others. Damage was caused to the International Airport, which suspended operations.

“Critical and civilian infrastructure, including the airport, has again been damaged. Foreign diplomatic missions have also been damaged. We condemn the brutal and ongoing attacks using drones and ballistic missiles,” the Foreign Ministry said.

Iran announced an attack on American military installations located in Kuwait and Bahrain, including the headquarters of the American Fifth Fleet. According to a statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, this was in response to the attack on Qeshm Island.
