Jensen Huang enjoys barbecue in Korea, handing out snacks to people

CEO of Nvidia, billionaire Jensen Huang, visited Seoul on June 5, 7 months after attracting attention with a popular fried chicken meal with leaders of Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Group.

During this visit, Mr. Huang continued to attract attention when eating barbecue with SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Group chairman Koo Kwang-mo and Naver leader Lee Hae-jin.

They went to a restaurant called “Hey man, come here”, which is considered to carry a message about strengthening relationships with Korean business partners. During the meal, that message was emphasized by a toast with “somaek”, a mixture of soju and beer, when Mr. Huang raised his glass and said “Go Korea, Go SK, Go LG and Go Naver.”

Afterwards, billionaire Huang and Korean business leaders distributed banana milk and snacks to people gathered outside to watch their meeting. Naver’s President Lee was the one who paid for the meal and also paid for all other guests in the restaurant.

During his visit to Seoul last October, Mr. Huang dined with leaders of Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Group at Kkanbu chicken restaurant, which means “very close friends.” At that time, Nvidia CEO said this location symbolized his friendship with these two business leaders.
