Trump: "There is an agreement. The signing perhaps over the weekend in Europe"

The war between Iran and the United States seems to have come to an end. “We have achieved an excellent agreement and there will be the signature soon, perhaps already over the weekend in Europe. I won’t be able to participate but my deputy JD Vance will be there.” The American president declared this, Donald Trump, speaking to reporters at the White House. “We have an agreement that will ensure that Iran never has a nuclear weapon,” he said, adding that the signature should come “very quickly” and that Tehran would also have an interest in terminating the agreement. Trump said he had spoken to several leaders in the region, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait. He also announced an upcoming meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The US president argued that the agreement could foster new positive relations in the region and said that the Strait of Hormuz will be “officially opened” as soon as the agreement is signed.
