At least six dead in new Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon

At least six people have died due to attacks carried out this Thursday by the Israeli Army against different towns in southern Lebanon, despite the ceasefire in force since mid-April and up to four rounds of negotiations between the authorities of the two countries for the cessation of hostilities.

According to information from the Lebanese news agency NNA, four people have died from shelling by Israeli troops in Abasiya and another two have died in Deir Qanun al Nahr, both towns located in the district of Tire.

For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Health has confirmed that 3,711 people have died and 11,483 have been injured due to attacks by the Israeli Army against its territory since last March 2, the day it resumed clashes with the Shiite militia party Hezbollah after the start of the Israeli and United States offensive against Iran.
