Cannon attack near the primary school in Kaštela. Five girls were injured! Arrested minors

– The fact that the pyrotechnics were hidden in the bushes and in the woods next to the school is also worrying, and their use in those places could cause fires and significant destruction of property – they announced.

This find on Friday is part of an action carried out at eleven locations in the area of ​​Split, Strožac, Solin and Sinj. Police officers seized a total of 275 pieces of prohibited pyrotechnic devices, the use of which is also prohibited by law for adults. The police note that persons under the age of 14 may not handle any type of pyrotechnics.

Five girls were slightly injured in Kaštela

On the same day, around 11:20 a.m., in Kaštela, five girls aged 13 were slightly injured due to the activation of a pyrotechnic device. According to police information, they suffered skin abrasions and minor burns.

In connection with this incident, two minors were taken to the police station and a criminal investigation is underway against them, writes Dalmacija Danas.

– Once again, we appeal to school staff and parents to talk to children and students in order to once again point out to them the obligation to refrain from celebrations that include the use of pyrotechnics and other inappropriate behavior. The appeal also goes to parents to draw their children’s attention to the obligation of reasonable and rational behavior during the celebration of the end of the school year – said the police.
