Ukraine, Kiev’s missiles hit Russia: video of the attack

Ukraine strikes missile factory in Volgograd, Russia. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirms the attack in a post on X. “FP-5 Flamingo missiles successfully hit the Titan-Barrikady plant in Volgograd last night. This is a major industrial complex where the enemy produces artillery systems and specialized military equipment, including components for missile launch systems used in attacks against our people. The attacks were followed by a fire inside the plant. I thank the soldiers of our Defense Forces for their precision,” he writes.

“Everything that strengthens Ukraine helps bring peace closer,” he adds. “This week, 15 of our regions have been hit by Russian attacks. Almost daily attacks have occurred in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Sumy. The Russians are using various types of weapons to target people, residential buildings and our civilian infrastructure. Unfortunately, almost every day there are casualties due to this terrorism. And the threat of these Russian attacks remains constant. Over the last week alone, about 1,400 attack drones have been recorded, almost 1,500 guided aerial bombs and 19 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles.”

“Strengthening air defense – mainly anti-ballistic protection – expanding cooperation under the Drone Agreement and increasing pressure on the aggressor are key priorities. Sanctions against Russia and its allies for this war must be applied where they will be most effective. We need strong and rapid measures that will force Russia to move towards the end of this war. Everything that strengthens Ukraine contributes to bringing peace closer. I thank everyone who is helping us,” he concludes.
