At least five people have died and several have been injured in a shooting that occurred this Monday at a juvenile care center in the German city of Stade, in the north of the country.
“According to the current state of the investigation, a homicide has occurred in a child care center with several victims. According to the data available so far, five people have died and others have been injured,” the local Luneburg Police reported in a message posted on social networks.
The intervention of the security forces has allowed the arrest of two alleged suspects, including the alleged perpetrator of the shooting, the Police added, although the investigation into the reasons for the attack and the development of the events is still underway.
