Israeli attacks have left more than 4,300 dead in Lebanon since the start of the Iran war

More than 4,300 people have already died in Lebanon as a result of attacks by the Israeli Army since last March 2, when fighting between Israeli forces and the militias of the Shiite Hezbollah party resumed, three days after the outbreak of the war in Iran.

The latest report from the Lebanese Ministry of Health stated this Friday that the Israeli bombings have left 4,301 dead and 12,199 injured throughout the country, but especially in the south, the scene of constant Israeli bombings against the populations of a region that it has partially invaded to, the Israeli Army argues, create a “security zone” that protects the communities in northern Israel.

On the other hand, the Lebanese Government has denounced that a good part of these bombings are indiscriminate in nature and have even been deliberately directed against civilians and soldiers.

The tensions surrounding Israel’s actions in Lebanon, accompanied by warnings from Tehran that these events represent violations of the pre-agreement signed with Washington and could derail the peace process in the Middle East, have been one of the points of friction in recent contacts and have even led to various public clashes between Israel and the United States.
