Three people, including a child, were killed as a result of a Russian army strike on the city of Sumy

A Russian strike on the city of Sumy killed three people, including a child, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

“The strike took place on one of the central streets of the city. Rescuers helped deliver victims to ambulances, evacuated people and carried out search operations in destroyed apartments,” the message says.

“The site of the impact was cleared of debris and fallen trees. Five people were rescued from the damaged apartments. A State Emergency Service psychologist also worked at the scene. 27 citizens were also injured at the scene, including 7 children,” the State Emergency Service added.
