Iran attacks Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait, US strikes near Bushehr nuclear power plant

In Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan, alarms sounded on the afternoon of July 9 due to Iranian shelling. Jordanian media reported that eight missiles were intercepted and no casualties were reported. The kingdom’s government says the strikes targeted American troops.

The alarm was also declared at a military base located in the Baghdad area where American troops are stationed. Presumably, we are talking about an attack by pro-Iranian groups operating in Iraq.

Deputy Governor of Bushehr Province Ehsan Jahaniyan said that the United States launched a strike in the area of ​​the Bushehr nuclear power plant. At the moment there is no information about casualties or damage.

Bandar Abbas, one of the main Iranian ports and an important naval base, was also subjected to American attacks. The port of the city of Sirik located to the east was also attacked. Three dead and 15 wounded are reported here.

Earlier, the United States attacked a strategic railway bridge on the Tehran-Mashhad highway. The bulk of trade between Iran and Russia passed through it. The railway service has been stopped. Let us add that the funeral of Iranian leader Ali Khamenei is taking place in Mashhad.
