In the 2024 parliamentary elections, he was elected to the Croatian Parliament as an independent candidate on the list of the Homeland Movement, Law and Justice and their partners. At the end of the same year, he joined the Club of Most representatives. In the Parliament, he is a member of the Committee for Internal Policy and National Security, the Committee for War Veterans and the Committee for Information, Informatization and Media.

In his parliamentary appearances, he often criticizes the work of judicial and security institutions, advocates the adoption of laws on lustration, stronger prosecution of war and post-war crimes, and greater transparency in the work of state bodies. He also repeatedly warned about, in his opinion, insufficient protection of Croatian sovereignty and the need to strengthen national security.

In November 2023, the police found an illegal gun and ammunition during a search of his family home. After his arrest, he was fined 2,650 euros for illegal possession of a weapon.

Now he is back in the spotlight after Zagreb police arrested his son Jona Javor Jurevi on suspicion of participating in robbery and an attack on a family of three. Jurčević then stated that he had no knowledge of the arrest and asserted that the word about the “hybrid operation” and the action of the “deep state” directed against him. At the same time, he said that he trusts the Croatian police officers, but not the political leadership of the police, and that he expects the institutions to carry out the procedure in accordance with the law.
