The United Arab Emirates announced operations to neutralize Iranian drones and missiles, Qatar confirmed that it shot down an Iranian missile.

The latest chapter of the military conflict between the USA and Iran began on July 7. The United States is demanding Tehran publicly acknowledge that Iran violated the terms of a memorandum of understanding that ended the war that began on February 28 by shelling civilian ships in the Strait of Hormuz, CBS reported, citing a senior US administration official.

The same representative, according to the TV channel, claimed that Iranian officials privately admitted that they had made a “mistake” by shelling the ships. Publicly, however, Iran has not accepted this, on the contrary, it accuses the US of violating the memorandum. In particular, the foreign minister of the country, Abbas Araghchi, wrote that the United States Treasury Department violated the agreement by announcing new sanctions against Iran.

Khamenei spoke about revenge

Against the background of the worsening situation, they are already talking about the intention of revenge in Iran.

“We promise to take revenge for the blood of our martyred leader and all the martyrs,” Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed during the American-Israeli war, said in a written message on Saturday.

While the skirmish does not stop, the mediated negotiations between the parties continue.
