One person was seriously injured in a traffic accident that happened today around 12:05 on the D66 road (Labin – Vozilići), the PU of Istria reported.
The accident happened when a man (21) was driving a motorcycle with Pula plates from the direction of Rijeka in the direction of Pula. When he came to the bend, due to his inappropriate speed, he lost control of the motorcycle and landed on the dirt road, and then hit a rock with his foot.
The trainč was transported to Rijeka hospital, where it was determined that he was seriously injured.
In the period from 12:45 to 2:05 p.m., the D66 road section was closed to traffic due to the accident.
A misdemeanor proceeding will be initiated against the motorcycle driver for committing a misdemeanor under the Road Traffic Safety Act.
