Iranian Ministry of Health: More than 260 people were injured as a result of US strikes

More than 260 people were injured in the latest US strikes on Iran.

Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour told CNN that the victims included at least three women and three children. 222 wounded were discharged from hospitals after receiving assistance.

Earlier, Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani said that in recent days, more than 30 civilians have been killed as a result of US strikes in the southern regions of the country. The Iranian army also reported the death of at least seven troops in an overnight attack on a base in the southeast of the country.

CNN notes that it cannot independently confirm the data provided by the Iranian side.
