Right-wing extremist blogger Yiannopoulos deported from USA

According to the information, Yiannopoulos entered the USA legally via New York on May 14, 2019. But after he stayed in the United States longer than allowed and also failed to appear for a hearing, an immigration judge issued a final deportation order on July 22 of this year.

Yiannopoulos was long known as a prominent face of American right-wing extremists. The openly gay Brit spread hate speech against women, blacks, elites and liberals. It was only when an interview in 2017 circulated in which he defended sex between men and boys that the scene largely turned its back on him: Yiannopoulos lost his book contract with the publisher Simon & Schuster, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC Conference) removed him from the list of speakers and the right-wing online medium Breitbart News terminated Yiannopoulos.

Yiannopoulos was most recently known for his connections to US rapper Ye (previously Kanye West), as the celebrity portal TMZ reported on the case. He worked for him for almost two years before the two ended their collaboration in 2024.

Last year, Yiannopoulos made positive comments about the ICE migration agency on the X platform: “California needs ICE checkpoints at the entrances to supermarkets, gas stations, shopping centers, intersections and government buildings,” he wrote at the time. Anyone who cannot prove at the checkpoints that they are legally in the USA should be “immediately deported”.
