Explosion in Split: They are investigating what detonated in a parked car

– On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, around 00:50 in Velebitska street in Split, a detonation occurred inside a parked vehicle. There were no injured persons, and according to initial information, no material damage was observed to other parked vehicles, nor to similar objects. The section of the road from the intersection of Velebitska Street and Bruna Buši Street to the intersection of Velebitska Street and Dubrova Street is temporarily closed for inspection – they told us.
