As a result of the warehouse explosion near Kiev, the number of victims has reached 37

President Vladimir Zelensky promised to punish those responsible for the explosion in the warehouse. Dozens of people were injured and more than 370 people were evacuated from the village of Mila, Zelensky said.

Last night, Russian forces attacked several cities of Ukraine, including Kiev. He added that nearby infrastructure had suffered “significant damage”, including residential buildings and a care center for the elderly.

“Those who allowed this to happen must take responsibility for their decisions,” Zelensky wrote in X.

“There are regulations in place. ammunition cannot be stored near houses or other residential areas. Corresponding conclusions will definitely be drawn,” he emphasized.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that an ammunition depot belonging to the Fire Point missile company was hit in the village of Mila.

The Russian military also announced that the warehouses of the “FIM Service” logistics center in the village of Chayki, Kyiv region, which were “used to store components for long-range cruise missiles” Flamingo, were struck, as well as the logistics center in the village of Kalinovka, which houses a customs terminal that handles the distribution of military cargo from Western countries.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergey Koretsky compared the incident in Mila to the July 6 explosion and subsequent fire in Vishnevo, which also damaged an ammunition depot near residential buildings, and called it “criminal negligence.”
