ZET. “Two Russian rockets exploded in Poland, there are casualties”

The ZET radio station broadcasting in Poland reported a while ago that two Russian combat missiles fell and exploded on the territory of Poland. At least 2 people were killed.

The incident took place near the village of Przewoduw in the Lublin region of Poland, about 5 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

It is not excluded that the Russians launched those missiles in the direction of Ukraine, but they deviated from the target and reached the territory of Poland.

Today, Ukraine was subjected to the heaviest rocket attack by the Russians.

The Polish government is currently convening an emergency meeting. The Poles are not in a hurry to draw any conclusions yet.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced a little while ago that “the armed forces did not strike targets near the Polish-Ukrainian border today.”

The Russians called the message spread by the Polish media a “provocation”.

The United States said it was closely monitoring the issue and “reports from Poland are of great concern.”

Washington noted that it is in active contact with the Polish authorities. NATO also reported discussing the issue with the Polish side.

“What we warned about happened a long time ago. Russia continues its terrorist activities, today they have already reached Poland,” said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

Poland is a member of NATO. According to Article 5 of the NATO Charter, an attack on any member is tantamount to an attack on the entire alliance.
