Report in Iran: The Revolutionary Guards arrested a “spy” who worked for the Israeli Mossad

The Persian news agency “Tasnim” reported today (Wednesday) that the intelligence service of the Revolutionary Guards arrested a spy who was working for the Israeli Mossad in the province of Kerman in the southeast of the Islamic Republic. According to the report, the arrest took place last Friday, and the suspect admitted during his arrest that he “applied to work after seeing an advertisement on the Internet regarding the organization”, and it aroused his curiosity.

According to the report, the spy claimed that “I sent them a request, and as soon as I sent an email, I saw that there was no way back and I had to continue. In order to satisfy the other side, I announced that I was ready to take any action in accordance with the goals of the Mossad in Iran. For this reason, I sent the identification documents mine to the Israeli intelligence officers.”

It was also reported in the Persian News Agency that the suspect “was determined”. He added that “the Israeli intelligence service, after providing the basic information and filling out the forms, contacted me through correspondence on WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram and the dark web. I used anonymous pages and immediately deleted all the messages. I was always anxious and worried from the moment I filled out the form. I knew my life was ruined. I knew from the first day that the intelligence office of the Revolutionary Guards would come to arrest me.”

In the meantime, the head of the legal administration in the province of Kerman, Ibrahim Hamidi, announced that “after intensive intelligence operations coordinated with the intelligence services of the Revolutionary Guards, a spy who worked for the Israeli Mossad was arrested, before he was able to carry out serious acts of sabotage.” He added that “he made several visits to different countries in order to convey information and training on various anti-security measures, through communication with foreign intelligence officers, and his last visit was to a neighboring country.”
