Sarajevo hooligans from the ‘Evil Horde’ beat three young men in Široki Brijeg, damaged vehicles

A group of hooligans from the “Horde zla” fan group from Sarajevo beat three young men in Široki Brijeg during the night on Sunday.

They also damaged two vehicles, in a still unexplained incident that took place while domestic football matches were being played due to the World Cup.

The incident was reported to the police after three younger Širokobrije residents sought help from a doctor at the Health Center shortly before midnight.

They suffered physical injuries in the attack that took place in the area of ​​that city.

They told the police that they were attacked by a group of seven people from Sarajevo.

Two cars were also damaged during the attack.

The hooligans, who were found to be members of the “Evil Horde” fan group of the Sarajevo soccer club, quickly fled the scene of the incident, and after a police report, they were found in the area of ​​Mostar.

They were arrested in a facility used by fans of Velež, the first league club in Mostar.

During the morning, seven rioters were handed over to the West Herzegovina County Prosecutor’s Office, which will decide on further action.

During the arrest, the police found several telescopic batons, tear gas, a knife, hats, caps and other items that they used during the incident in the thugs’ vehicles.

Incidents between fan groups, mostly nationally motivated, are common during football matches in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The incident from Široki Brijeg happened during the football break of local clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to the holding of the World Cup in Katro.
