EU leaders agree to call for “humanitarian pauses and corridors” in Gaza and a peace conference “soon”

The heads of State and Government of the Twenty-Seven agreed this Thursday to request “pauses and humanitarian corridors” from Israel and Hamas to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and support the holding of a peace conference “soon.” as claimed by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.

EU leaders call for “continued, rapid, safe and unhindered humanitarian access and help to reach those in need by all necessary means including humanitarian corridors and pauses for humanitarian needs.”
